So yesterday Cameron had his first dentist appt.! How exciting! HA! I was concerned that his top right tooth hadn't "dropped" all the way. His pediatrician mentioned that there might have been some trauma to the tooth and it wouldn't hurt to take him to the dentist. So off we were to another appt. for Cameron. The dentist said that at his age his top teeth should touch his bottom teeth. Neither of his top teeth do right now! So even the one on the left isn't in all the way. And he was surprised that he only had 3 teeth in at the bottom in the front, he said that typically the 2 side ones come it at the same time. So the poor little guy is lopsided with his teeth! But the dentist asked if he uses a paci, I said yes. He said well he must suck on it more to the right. HE WAS RIGHT! Check out the picture! So the teeth on his right side are coming in slower because the paci is interfering! He said we should try to be done with the paci by 24 months. Yikes! 5 months to go, but we can do it! We go back in March to follow up...hopefully we will have made some progress by then! On another note, Cameron is in a Kindermusik class and the director made a slideshow of some photos that she took last week.
