SMILE!

I took Cameron to get his pictures taken yesterday. We took one of his favorite, toys, his big Lightning McQueen car. He wasn't really in the mood yesterday for pictures, but we managed to get a few cute ones!

I wanted to capture some things that we will be able to look back on and remember what he liked to do. So it was a busy day yesterday, picture day is always exhausting for mom! Lots of entertaining, waiting to view, waiting to print, etc.!

A Summer to remember...

Believe it or not, summer has come to an end! We had so much fun with Cameron! Last summer he wasn't very active, but he has definitely been a busy little boy the past few months. I'm not really sure what we are going to do as the weather gets colder because as the whole neighborhood knows, Cameron LOVES to be outside pushing his little car up and down the sidewalk and swinging!

Some of the highlights of Cameron's summer...

• "Day out with Thomas" where he met and rode Thomas the train...one of his favorites!
  


• Mommy and Cameron went to visit his cousins Kayden and Rylan in Orlando! We went to Sea World and Disney and did lots of other fun stuff!

• Spent lots of time at the Children's Museum, Zoo and the park!
  
  


• Got a new swingset!
  
  


• Helped Mommy plan a 40th "Superman" birthday party for Daddy!
  
  


• Had fun attending parades and festivals!
  
  


• Started my second year of Kindermusik!

Some of the not so fun highlights this summer...

• Had pneumonia in May
• Daily breathing treatments for what we think is Asthma (Started in May - every 4 hours for 8 weeks. Now only at bedtime until follow-up appt. in November.
• Eczema treatments (lotion, lotion and more lotion)!
• Ear infection
• 1st visit to the Dentist

Well that wraps up our summer! Looking forward to more fun in the fall and getting ready for HALLOWEEN! I think Cameron is going to have a lot of fun trick or treating this year.

Ok, that was a long post, but I had a lot to cover! More later...

My 1st trip to the dentist!

So yesterday Cameron had his first dentist appt.! How exciting! HA! I was concerned that his top right tooth hadn't "dropped" all the way. His pediatrician mentioned that there might have been some trauma to the tooth and it wouldn't hurt to take him to the dentist. So off we were to another appt. for Cameron. The dentist said that at his age his top teeth should touch his bottom teeth. Neither of his top teeth do right now! So even the one on the left isn't in all the way. And he was surprised that he only had 3 teeth in at the bottom in the front, he said that typically the 2 side ones come it at the same time. So the poor little guy is lopsided with his teeth! But the dentist asked if he uses a paci, I said yes. He said well he must suck on it more to the right. HE WAS RIGHT! Check out the picture! So the teeth on his right side are coming in slower because the paci is interfering! He said we should try to be done with the paci by 24 months. Yikes! 5 months to go, but we can do it! We go back in March to follow up...hopefully we will have made some progress by then!
