Mother's Day 2012

Happy Mother's Day!!! I hope everyone had a perfect day! Cameron & Lonnie made my day extra special. Of course they started my day by getting my coffee for me, Cameron even went in his PJ's. Then we went to church and Lonnie made reservations at PF Changs...yum! Afterwards,we went to the Nordstrom Rack (fun)! While I shopped, Cameron & Lonnie walked to Orange Leaf for some frozen yogurt. Afterwards we went home for a nap and I went out for a bit. After Cameron woke up, we had dinner & took our nightly walk to the park. Cameron has really enjoyed going for a walk after dinner and stopping at the park. He plays, runs with Andy and really looks forward to it. It is so much fun to watch him grow. I know it goes by so fast and one day he will run out the door and tell us that he is going to go to the park by himself. So for now, I will enjoy every second of my lil peanut!

Lonnie & I went to a fundraiser this weekend with Dan & Trina and we left Cameron with their 3 girls. He was so excited to stay at their house. He had a blast! I'm sure it is a night he will always remember. He couldn't believe all the Mommy's & Daddy's were leaving and all the kids were staying home alone. He told us that he wanted us to drop him off and he would walk himself up the driveway. I can't believe how big he is getting! They were great with him. He talked them into everything. Even into going in the garage and getting a tour of their 2 Hondas and 1 Volkswagon! I think he knew more about their cars than they did! :)

Circus parade at school

Cameron's and his classmates put on a circus parade at school last week. Each kid got to choose what they wanted to dress up as and then they did a little performance for the parents. They were all so cute. Cameron was a lil tiger. :) They all did a great job and they had lots of fun too!

We were so excited to spend the day at the Children's Museum with our friends Steff & Ella. It was Ella's first trip there. She loved it and Cameron loved showing her around. We were very impressed, she hung in there and we were able to visit all 4 floors! What a trooper! We can't wait to do it again!!!

Field Trip to the Fire Station

Cameron went on a field trip to the fire station today! All the kids had so much fun!!! They even got to ride on the bus. Cameron told me on the way there they sang "The Wheels on the Bus" and "Old MacDonald". How fun for these young kids! I also went on the field trip and it was so cute to see all the kids in awww over all of the equipment, trucks, etc. They got to sit in the trucks, check out the ambulance, and learned all about fire safety throughout the house. Cameron also volunteered to help a firefighter. He had to pretend he was sleeping and then had to crawl to the door to safety. It was cute! I think Cameron learned a whole lot on this trip and will remember it for a lifetime. :)
