Pajama Day!

Cameron just started learning about the 7 days of creation at school. "In the beginning, on Day 1, Got created light & dark". To go along with day 1, the kids got to wear pajamas to school. They read books in the dark with their flashlights, played tag in the gym (in the dark) & other fun activities, they even had a bed in their room! They had so much fun! Cameron was looking forward to this day for weeks. He thought it was so funny that he got to wear his pj's to school. He said, "we don't even have to get dressed in the morning"? We did put a fresh pair of pj's on. He chose to wear his Lightning McQueen pj's, he had a Lightning flashlight and they also got to take a "bedtime" item and he took his big Lightning pillow. Imagine that! :)

Day at the Children's Museum

On Friday, Cameron spent the day at the museum with Nolan. The boys had so much fun. We were there for almost 4 hours. We are never there that long, but they played great together and had so much fun! They are both getting so big. We met Nolan and Mari (his nanny) at Kindermusik class when Cameron was about 18 months. The boys are not in music class any more and both go to different schools, but we keep in touch with them and try to get them together every couple of weeks. It's so cute to watch them grow. They are so independant now. They used to need our help going up and down slides, etc. Now we just have to literally run at full speed to keep up with them. They think it's hilarious to run down the ramps as fast as they can to see if we can catch them.

Yesterday they had fun in the dinosaur exhibit, looking at the colored glass, Mr. Potato head exhibit, Science Works, in the library, having lunch together and just being SILLY! Such a fun day!

The BIG Party!

Cameron had his birthday party with his friends last Friday at Recreation Unlimited. The kids had a blast and he told me, "Mom, this is the best birthday party EVER"! The kids played for a little over an hour and then we went to the party room for snacks and cake/cupcakes. I made Cameron a birthday cake for his actual birthday and he said he had wanted a "circle" cake. So for his party we had cupcakes and a red velvet "circle" cake. Both were yummy and I think the kids liked choosing between cake and cupcakes. :) After, the yummy treats the kids played for a bit before going home.

Cameron had so much fun! It was so cute to see him surrounded by all of his friends. They are an adorable group of kiddos! He is one lucky little boy!

Lightning McQueen - 4 years in a row!

Cameron has had a Lightning McQueen themed birthday party 4 years in a row! He wasn't able to choose his first year, but he loved cars. He has been able to choose the last 3 years. I was amazed that he wanted Lightning again this year. Here are some pics from his last 4 birthdays...so precious! :)

Happy 4th Birthday!

My dearest little Cameron, 4 years ago today you came into this world and changed our lives. You are becoming such a big boy! I always ask you if you can stay little for me and you respond, "I can't Mommy, I'm getting bigger". I am so lucky God chose me to be your Mommy. I look forward to seeing your smiling face everyday. I love spending everyday with you - our shopping trips, lunch dates, play dates, whatever it is. It's always something! :)

You are getting bigger, but one thing hasn't changed - you still LOVE cars! This will be your 4th Lightning McQueen birthday party. You love cars, any car, but never a Hot Wheel, you are so silly.

You had a lot of milestones this year, but the biggest were starting preschool and finally being potty trained! Yeah! You didn't think you would like school, but you love it! Mrs. Morris and Mrs. Remender are the best teachers! And you've met lots of new friends there. We also moved in November and you've done great at the new house. You love having a basement! I'm not sure why, but you are so proud of your basement.

You will always be my baby boy, even though you insist you're my big boy! Today as we celebrate you turning 4, I look forward to another fun year full of memories with you!
