Last weekend, Cameron & I took a road trip to visit Grandma & Grandpa. Finally, it was a nice weekend and I wasn't afraid we would get stuck in some type of snow storm on the way there or back. Cameron had so much fun. Lots of playing, he had fun at the local Starbucks and having a special donut for breakfast. It's the little things that make him happy! :) He is always sad when we have to head back home. He is always so crabby on the way back, it doesn't help that he doesn't sleep much while we are there. No naps, tossing and turning all night and up early! But it's all worth it.
We had a fun week this week, doing our normal stuff. We went to kids night at Chick-Fil-A, music class, to the museum with Wyatt & Hadley and to Nolan's house to play. On the way home from Nolan's house on Friday, Cameron looked like he had been drugged! All of a sudden he had droopy eyes, he could barely keep them open, he became warm and just looked miserable! He only slept for about 45 min. and woke up SO cranky! He had a fever of 101. We took it easy the rest of the day and then he started saying his back hurt. So he has a fever, he's tired and his back hurt...then he throws up in bed! I slept with him Friday night because I was worried about him. He slept pretty good, woke up a couple of times, but not for long. Saturday morning he woke up with a fever still and he wouldn't walk down the stairs. I was already down and he was standing at the top of the stairs looking at me, he said his legs hurt. So I carried him. Then we made it downstairs and I was getting him some OJ and he laid down on his back on the wood floor in the middle of the hallway. He must have been so achy! After his nap Saturday, his fever seemed to be gone, but he all of a sudden started sneezing, coughing, his eyes were watering, etc. I think it's the flu! Lonnie thinks it's a cold...I don't think so. He is the same today, sneezing, coughing, etc. I will call the Dr. tomorrow. I have to cancel his shot that he is supposed to get, I know they have to be healthy to get shots. They typically don't do anything for the flu, but since he has asthma, he is considered "high risk" so they might want to see him.
Hope he feels better tomorrow...or at least real soon! Below are some pics from last weekend when he was feeling 100%!
Cameron's new chair!
Saying a prayer before breakfast...so angelic!
A VERY special donut!
I LOVE Grandma & Grandpa!
