A play date with Wyatt!
Cameron and I met Robin and Wyatt at the park on Friday. These 2 boys get along perfect with eachother! Cameron recognizes that Wyatt is younger and is just so sweet with him, I just love watching them play together. Needless to say, the boys had an absolute BLAST! And the fun didn't stop there, next we treated them to DQ!

Look at me MOM!
Cameron had just finished eating lunch (in his highchair) and I ran upstairs to get my camera and a change of clothes because we were meeting our friends Robin and Wyatt at the park. When I came back, Cameron had put his Lightning McQueen chair in one of the kitchen chairs and managed to also climb in it. He was sitting there very nicely! I have no idea how he climbed in without the chair slipping off the other chair. I guess he knew what he was doing. What a little stinker!

Hi Grandma!
Cameron talking to his Grandma (my mom). She is probably his most faithful follower on his blog..so this one is for you grandma! These are pics of Cameron talking to her before his nap.

The Nascar Haulers Parade
We took Cameron to see the car "haulers" the other day over by the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. All of the trucks were lined up...all nice, shiny and colorful. A little boys dream! Cameron enjoyed looking at the trucks but was also intrigued by the drains along the way. He liked to pick up trash, rocks, whatever he could find and put it in the drains....what a boy! We didn't stay for the parade. It must have started late, we were there until almost 8 and it was a hot, hot day. Today daddy went to the race. It was kind of last minute, we went to church and out to breakfast and then daddy went to buy tickets and went to the race that started at one. Cameron and I came home and built a new train layout for his table, played with blocks, read books and now he is trying to go to sleep!
Sweatin' our butts off!
Looks a little like Lightning McQueen's eyes!

Looking back on summer pics...
Today I was looking at some old summer pics of Cameron. I can't believe how fast he is growing up. I had to post some of my favorite pics from his previous 2 summers. He's had some good times for being only 2 years old! :)
Cameron Alexander, we love you!

Sad mommy...
I sold Cameron's nursery furniture last week. I wasn't sad until it was going out the door. But then it hit me that Cameron is getting so big and not really a baby anymore (even though I still call him my baby)! So now his crib is gone, his dresser is gone. And we now have a new room for him.
He is sleeping in his Thomas bed and we were able to get a really nice dresser at Costco this weekend. We got lucky that Costco has furniture right now. They have really nice pieces of furniture, but usually just once or twice a year. So his room is pretty much done, I just need to do some minor things.
My little boy continues to grow up, but he will always be mommy's baby boy!

4th of July weekend
We had a busy 4th of July weekend...but it was lots of fun! We went up north to visit my sis and 2 nephews that were in from FL. It was such a HOT weekend, but we enjoyed our time visiting...wish we could have been there longer. Cameron loved playing with his cousins! Kayden is 4 and Rylan is 2 and they are both very different. Kayden is really sweet and mild tempered. Rylan is a typical 2 year old...he is wild and has no fear! Cameron wasn't sure what to think of him! But they all had fun...I will post some videos later, they are pretty funny! For now, here are some pics of our holiday weekend.

Summer FUN!
We have been having lots of fun this summer! I've been trying to take lots of pictures to capture our summertime adventures!
Below are some pics of Cameron at the museum with his sweet little friend Wyatt - We had such a blast with Robin and Wyatt...it was their first visit to the museum and they loved it! We can't wait to do it again!
Also some pics of Cameron with Leda and Reid...our neighbors that live across the street and Cameron adores them! We went to the park with them and had so much fun!
Lastly, some pics of our little 4-legged neighbor Barkley. Cameron and I get to take Barkley out once a week during the day and he has so much fun, it's like his little babysitting job. He loves it! We take Barkley out to play and then go inside and make sure he gets plenty to drink and of course a couple of treats and then back for an afternoon nap. We just take him out once a week, but get to play with him almost everyday. Everyone always gravitates to Barkley...he's such a sweet little puppy! Steff and Chris share him with the neighborhood, we all love to spoil him! :)
We definitely have been enjoying the nice summer weather. Tomorrow we are headed to up north to visit my sister and 2 nephews. I can't wait for the 3 boys to play together!
